Description
A bodyguard or close protection officer, is a type of security officer who protects a person or people from danger. The perceived threat is usually of the nature of harassment, assault, kidnapping, assassination, or other criminal offences. A group of security officers who protect an individual, group or team is referred to as a security detail; details consists of three to twelve officers.
Crowd Control
Description
Crowd control is a public safety practise where large crowds are managed to prevent the outbreak of crowd crushes, fights, drunk and disorderly behaviour or riots. Crowd crushes cause panic & can cause many casualties. Crowd control involves licenced security providers as well as police officers.
Static Security
Description
A static guard is a licenced Security Officer performing the function and duties of a static guard. this type of security involves staying at the entry door or gate to control access to & egress from the site or venue. They will not leave their assigned position until they are relieved by their replacement or instructed to stand down at the end of their shift.
Training Service
Description
Confident Security Services, provides in house training for security officers. CPP20212 Certificate II in Security Operations is the minimum legal requirement to become a licensed security provider in the state of Queensland. We can also provide you all the refresher training modules for renewing your security licence.
We can also provide a Diploma of Security and Risk Management, Business, Leadership Management and Event Management. We can provide up to date information about government funding for study.
